R. Jorgensen Antiques is a large antiques shop in southern Maine. The old antique cape, built around 1685, is on the  National Register of Historic Places, and is one of the oldest houses in Wells. In the first building are a series of 5 large antique showrooms ranging from formal 18th century antique paneled rooms, to more rustic rooms with antique exposed beams, wide pine boards, and painted floors. Our second building, is a 40' x 80' two floor "long barn" with larger floor space for displaying antiques.

We like to encourage people to mix antiques of different styles, colors, forms, woods, and countries. Our showrooms hold many antiques not yet on our website. You can always find country and formal antiques, American and English, Welsh, Scottish, Dutch, Indian Scandinavian, and French, Mahogany, Walnut, Birch, Maple, and Pine, all antiques thoughtfully displayed together, creating new exciting combinations.
