Wedgwood red ware pitcher with glazed interior.

This antique jug has Greek key, dots and other slender bands of cream or white decoration.

It is clearly marked on the bottom. 

The unglazed exterior had a purpose.

The pitcher was soaked briefly in water, this allowed the evaporation to chill the contents.
