Shipping
R. Jorgensen Antiques can make all the arrangements to ship items to most destinations worldwide and we will happily procure shipping estimates for you. The cost of shipping is yours, however when items are professionally shipped out of state you do not have to pay Maine sales tax.
With small items we charge a shipping and packaging fee and ship UPS or US Postal Service, insured. Depending on the shipper and the items, larger pieces can be blanket wrapped or crated and delivered to your door. Specific shipping needs can be handled per advance arrangement.
Holds
A hold is the right of first refusal. R. Jorgensen Antiques will attempt to reach you if there is another party interested in the item(s). If we are unable to make contact with you, we reserve the right to sell to another prior to the hold cancellation date.
Sales Tax
Maine sales tax is due on each item except upon receipt of a valid Sellers Registration/Tax Certificate or if the object is being professionally shipped out of Maine.
Dealer Inquiries
R. Jorgensen Antiques offers a trade discount to professionals holding a valid Sellers Registration/Tax Certificate. The state of Maine honors other state's certificates.
To apply for the trade discount, please fill out our form and fax or mail it along with your Sellers Registration/Tax Certificate (mandatory!) to R. Jorgensen Antiques at (207) 646-4954. After receiving the form and Sellers Registration/Tax Certificate, we will call you to complete the process and give you the discount information.
This process only needs to be completed once. Please note that credit cards may not be used for trade purchases.
Returned Items
If you are not happy with your purchase for whatever reason, you may return it for a full refund.
This may take place:
- In a reasonable time (a week after you receive it);
- The piece arrives back in the condition it left us;
- Return shipping is also at your cost.
Our intention is to make purchasing from this site as comfortable as if you were in our showrooms.
