Wonderful and very rare Vermont painted dressing table with unusual drawer arrangement. Superb legs with full height. Brass is not original but it’s of the period and exactly fits the marks of the original. This table is of the best form and has the original grayish white paint with apple green highlighting and eight fabulous stenciled and hand painted shells.
On the back of the drawer box is a pencil inscription that reads: “Chenry (or ? - first name is very hard to read) H Kenny (or Kenry) Groton Vermont”
32 1/4 inches to working surface.
