Pollard oak metamorphic trolley. The top is made in three layers, the top layer lifts while the bottom layer drops creating three tiers. The base has scrolled legs joined by an beaded and ebonized stretcher. The pollard (burl) oak top is made of four panels of bookmatched veneer thus creating a symetrical design, all polished to a warm hue. Extended height 44”. There is a label under the top that reads "Roodhouse & Sons, Leeds" with aline labeled "No." and another line labeled "Workmans Name" which are filled in but illegible.
