Superb double goffering iron in truly perfect condition.
Wonderful turnings and perfect little slipper feet.
With a finial below the tripod legs it was made in the first half of the 18th century (1730).
I love that there’s a different patina on the two barrels because they had red hot iron slugs inside and the rest of the structure didn’t.
