Large Samson Bowl with floral swags around the outside and a floral bouquet in the inside center bottom. It has a clear Samson faux Lowestoft mark. Circa 1875. Samson was known for remaking (faking) the missing pieces in the late 19th century. This is a lovely bowl with his mark. Reference: Kovel’s Dictionery of Pottery and Porcelain.
