Very small English Regency giltwood convex mirror in superb original surface. Cresting with an eagle (partial Verde Antique) with spread wings perched atop a rock base with oak branches and leaves on either side. Rare cast lace circular border within a cove mold around a reeded ebonized inner border. The base with 2 intertwined serpents backed with stylized foliage. (Note: Serpents at that time were considered allies to ward off evil) Two candle branches with cut glass bobeches and brass candle nozzles.
