Metamorphic Armchair

No. NW13409

Superb William IV Metamorphic armchair with gilded scrolled arm supports.

This remarkable chair is winged (for comfort) and will recline to almost flat (with a mechanical lever under the right arm).  What appears to be the front reeded rail pulls out to form a supported leg cushion.

The front legs are boldly turned and all four casters are original (note the“reach” of the back legs for style and stability).
