Dutch Mahogany Corner Cupboard

An absolutely superb formal Dutch mahogany corner cupboard in matched crotch veneers. The doors are "broken"  out from the face of the cupboard and are flanked by Corinthian columns on the top and carved swags on the bottom.

The original carved and gilded finial is centered in the pediment, highlighted by a wonderful light/dark inlay simulating dental molding, which is also used as a medial molding that hides a sliding shelf. The interior of the doors is lined in satinwood as are the faces of the three small conforming interior drawers.

This is truly the best in formal corner cupboards and is all completely original including the brass.  Leg is 35 inches (measuring from the corner to the back wall).

There are two positions for the finial making the over all height either 96 3/4 inches or 95 1/2 inches. Just over or just under 8 feet tall.
