Superb slant lid desk opening to an amphitheater interior of eight valanced compartments above a fan-carved central drawer flanked by concave, convex, and valanced drawers and two stepped shaped drawers, above a case of four thumb molded graduated drawers. Deeply scrolled bracket base. Replaced brass and an old repair above the lock. It is from the Hartford area.
