Wonderful Scottish house-keepers cupboard with the original grain painting and oval paintings on the doors. This cupboard is an amazing survivor. The form is the best with a bold Chippendale bracket base, an excellent arrangement of drawers, paneled sides, bold cornice and applied quarter columns. The surface is completely original with graining to simulate boldly figured wood, cross banding around the paintings and upper single drawer and superb faux veneered crossbanding under the cornice.
The back and interior has all the original rosehead nails witch place it late 18th/early 19th century
