Stepback Cupboard with three drawers and turned legs and an open "pot board" below. The top of this dresser has a scrolled frieze that is echoed in the lower scrolled skirt. The ends are paneled.
Note: Many dressers or stepback cupboards are referred to as “Welsh Dressers” but only this form, with an open pot shelf up on legs, is a true welsh dresser.
