Superb chest on chest with swan’s neck fret carved pediment over two short and six long drawers flanked by cluster pilasters and standing on high bracket feet. Wonderful original condition including the brass that retains traces of the original fire-gilding.
This type of crest with a deep shelf-like plinth between the scrolls is meant to support a figure of your choice ( I've used an urn, Stafforshire bust of George Washington, etc.).
